Encouraging Words from Week 2/26-3/1

Encouraging Word for Today 3/1/24

1 Thessalonians 5:17

"Pray without ceasing"

Very short verse this morning but it holds power. They are many this morning who I have talked with, visited, or seen other requests made that need the Lord's touch. With God nothing is impossible. Remember those having surgery, those that are sick, those that are lonely, those that are mourning, and those that are lost. The Lord hears and answers prayer. My prayer is with each of you this morning and the days to come. Have a blessed Friday.

Ephesians 3:20-21

20. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

21. Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

All blessings and good things come from Heaven above. I ask many things of the Lord concerning my family, friends, the Church, and myself. The Lord has always and will always provide what is best for us in our Christian walk with him. ( exceeding abundantly above what we ask) I am thankful for the Holy Spirit which dwells within us to lead and guide us through his power. God's Glory is in His Church and I am thankful for His mercy in allowing me to be a part of it and to be with others also who are saved. Keep praying for those that are lost and being a witness of Christ unto them because there is still hope while the door is open. Have a Blessed Thursday my Friends.

Matthew 5:10-12

10. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

12. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Blessed means enjoying spiritual happiness and the favor of God. Righteousness is the active and passive obedience of Christ, by which the law of God is fulfilled. When the Lord saved us by his grace through our faith in him, we became followers of Christ. John 15:18 says," If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you." Also John 15:25 says, "But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause." Haters are going to hate so rejoice that our names are written in Heaven and the blessings of the Lord are upon all those that stand for His precious name. May the Lord continue to Bless you my friends.

Matthew 9:35-38

35. And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

36. But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

37. Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;

38. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

Let us pray for each other today so that we all might have a part in the lives of those that are lost, sick, depressed, hurting, feeling lonely, not knowing what they should do, wondering if anybody cares for them. All that are saved can be a help to someone in an area of their life. The harvest is plenteous, let us all do our part because someone cared for us. Have a blessed Tuesday my Friends and may the Lord continue to bless your efforts and labours of love and compassion.

Mark 2:1-5

1. And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house.

2. And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.

3. And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.

4. And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.

5. When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.

The one sick of the palsy was "bourne of four." This message was preached by Bro. Mike McCoy the first night of our fall Revival this past year. The four were 1. Enthusiasm 2. Effort 3. Encourager 4. Endurance. As a Christian we need to be one of these in someone's life so that we may bring them to Christ. Not only that, we need to be one of these in the Church to help our Brothers and Sisters who are facing many issues of life. Finally, the Youth need all these people around them because the devil is on a rampage. Let us be one of these four. God Bless You my Friends and just keep moving forward in the Lord.
