“Grow in Grace and Knowledge”
2 Peter 3:18 “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.”
How do we as Christians grow in the grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ? Here are 10 ways, (you can find others also in the Word of God {search it out}), that I am going to list. [Example will follow each one.]
Pray each day, more than once, at specific times. (Psalm 55:17)
Choose a particular verse, chapter, topic, or epistle to study. (2 Timothy 2:15)
Read the Bible through. It will discipline you. (Isaiah 34:16)
Listen to preaching. The truth will trim you up. (Romans 10:14)
Attend Church Services. (Hebrews 10:25)
Fellowship with other Christians. (Hebrews 13:1)
Be active in the Church. (Luke 10:2)
Follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit. (John 16:13)
Do something for someone else without looking for recognition. (Matthew 25:35-40)
Obey the Word of God without question. (Psalm 119:140)
If we are diligent in our hearts to do God’s will in our lives, our growth as a Christian will affect others that we love and also those that we may not even know personally. It will give glory to our Saviour Jesus Christ both now and forever.
