Sunday Morning Morning Prayer Time

It has been awhile since I have written anything on my Pastor’s blog but today as I am sitting at my desk in the Pastor’s office at Church seeking preparation for tommorrow’s services, I felt led to write something about my Sunday Morning Prayer Time that I livestream on Sunday Morning’s at 8:15 central time. I began doing this on Aug. 28, 2020 during the COVID time, (I don’t have to go into detail about that), so that I could stay in touch with those who weren’t able to attend services. We started livestreaming our services in the spring for that same reason and we have continued to do so. Anyhow, on Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023, it will be 3 years that I have been doing this. I never really thought that I would be staying with this as long as it has been now but when I think about stopping, it just seems like the Holy Spirit encourages me to keep doing it. Also, from time to time I will talk to people and they say how they look forward to the few minutes on Sunday Morning that we are able to come together and pray. Many attend different Churches in different States and others may not be able to attend at all because of medical situations. Whatever the situation, I look forward to this time on Sunday Mornings to pray with each one of you, whether you attend Mt. Carmel or not.

I have missed 8 Sunday Morning Prayer Times during this time but tommorrow (Aug. 20th) will be the 149th time and the next Sunday (3 year anniversary) will be the 150th. As long as we feel led and are able to continue, we will be coming together with you to pray for the Morning and Evening Services, for Congregations that stand on the truth, for Pastor’s and their Families, Evangelists, Missionaries, Revivals, those that are sick, unspoken, special requests and most of all, for those that are lost. I enjoy when you leave a comment but I am glad whether you do or not, just being able to pray together. As I close this writing , I will end with the verse that started this for me, 1 Thessalonians 5:17, “Pray without ceasing.” May the Lord continue to bless you and if have an oppurtunity to join us on our “Sunday Morning Prayer Time”, please do so. I start at 8:15am central time and usually go between 10-15 min. Until the next time, Pastor Shayne Monday.
