Encouraging Word for Today 4/22/24

Job 5:17

"Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:"

The Lord wants us to live a Christian life that is pleasing unto him. When we begin to let the things of this world start hindering us or we start going against what the Word of God says, He will correct us if we will give heed to the correction. Proverbs 3:12 says "For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth." The Lord wants us to be happy so that we will let our light shine joyfully before the lost and be an example and encourager to the young. Have a blessed beginning of the week and remember the Lord knows what is best for each one of us. For this I am thankful.
