Encouraging Word for Today (6/17/24)

Mark 1:14-15

14. Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

15. And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

The Gospel is a revelation of the Grace of God to fallen man through a mediator, [1Timothy 2:5-6 "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.] including the character, actions, and doctrine of Christ, with the whole scheme of Salvation, as revealed by Christ and his Apostles.

There is no reason for anyone not to be saved (John 3:7 "Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.") The way was prepared, Jesus fulfilled it, we just have to repent of our sins and believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ for Salvation.
