Marks of the True Christian (Part 2)

Romans 12:10  “Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;”

Affectioned means to be joined together. I thought about the Borned Again Believer in Christ (Christian) who is part of the Body of Christ. The Bible says in verse 5 of this same chapter that, “So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.” 1 Corinthians chapter 12 teaches us about the Body and how significant and important each one is. Some members are stronger and some are weaker. When one member goes through a difficult time in their life and suffers all should suffer with them. Those that are feeble are necessary and may I say the older Christians that have been in the heat of the battle in all faithfulness (not left the Church when others did) are needed to fill their seat and be that shining example of how Great the Lord is and how God is always faithful. When one member is honoured all the members are to rejoice with them and not let the spirit of jealousy or hatred come into their mind or heart because the Bible teaches there is a Street of Gold (Rev. 21:21) and I believe all the saved will live on Main Street. I want my heart to always be right with the Lord because I want to be there and I want you to be there too. I will end with this verse from Hebrews chapter 13 verse 1, “Let brotherly love continue.”
