The Call of Duty

For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this? ( Esther 4:14 )

We are living in very critical time where the decisions we make as Christians will have a impacting effect on the next generation to come. The basic freedoms that we have to raise our children in the ways of the Lord are under attack from spiritual wickedness in high places. We need to be prayerful and research the stance of those who are running for office in our country on issues that align with the Word of God.

Esther was in a position where she could have been put to death by entering into the presence of the King without being summoned but she did her Duty for all her people so that they might survive. God had her in a position for a “Time such as this.”

Let us not put our head in the sand and not be aware of what’s going on around us but let us do our Duty to stand for the cause of Christ and be the pillars of the Church to continue in the Faith for the Generation to come.
